Renovating in Gandía: flats to live in
Unlike Dénia or Jávea, in Gandía most of our work is in permanent homes. These are flats in blocks from the 60s to 90s, with the typical layout of the period: a closed, narrow kitchen, one bathroom with a bathtub, a long hallway and small bedrooms. The services are usually original and the floor is terrazzo.
The clients are families who have been in the flat for years and want to bring it up to date, or people who have just bought an older property and want to renovate it before moving in. In the second case the renovation is usually a full one with the flat empty, which allows the work to go faster.
What we do most in Gandía
- Full flat renovations: new layout, complete plumbing and electrics, plasterboard, floors, bathroom, kitchen and painting.
- Bathroom renovations: replacing the bathtub with a shower, renewing drains and pipes and waterproofing before tiling.

How we organise a job with the family living in
In Gandía it is common for the family to carry on living in the flat while the bathroom or kitchen is renovated. We organise it in stages so the room is out of use for as short a time as possible, protect the hallway and the other rooms, and clean up at the end of every day. The noisiest work, such as demolition, is concentrated in the first few days.

Do you work regularly in Gandía?
Yes. Gandía and La Safor are part of our usual area. For bathroom, kitchen or full renovations the distance changes neither the price nor how the job is organised.
We live in the flat during the renovation. Is that possible?
For a bathroom or a kitchen, usually yes, with some disruption and by organising the work in stages. For a full renovation it is not usually feasible. We go through it with you at the site visit.
Can you do the complete renovation of a flat we have just bought?
Yes. It is one of the jobs we do most: demolition, new layout, complete plumbing and electrics, plasterboard, floors, bathroom, kitchen and painting with a single team and a single quotation.
Do you take care of the skip and paperwork in Gandía?
When the job requires it, yes. The paperwork depends on the scope of the renovation and on the town hall; we help you deal with it when it is needed.
