Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect on kasreformas.es, what we use it for and what rights you have, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

1. Data controller

2. What data we collect and how

Contact form. Name, telephone number, email (optional), the town where the property is located, type of renovation, approximate start date, a description of the project and, if you choose to attach them, photographs of the property. Only your name, telephone number and acceptance of this policy are required.

Calls, WhatsApp and email. If you contact us by these means we will process the details you provide (telephone number, name, messages, photos) for the same purpose. WhatsApp is a service provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. with its own privacy terms.

Browsing. We only use analytics cookies with your consent. See our cookie policy.

3. Purpose and legal basis

  • To respond to your request for information, a visit or a quote and, where applicable, to plan and carry out the renovation. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request and performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • To meet our legal obligations (invoicing, tax). Legal basis: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
  • To analyse how the website is used, in aggregate, through analytics cookies. Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not make automated decisions or build profiles. We do not send unsolicited marketing communications.

4. How long we keep your data

If we do not end up working together, we keep the details of your enquiry for a maximum of 12 months from the last contact and then delete them. If work is carried out, the data needed for the contractual relationship and invoicing is kept for the periods required by Spanish tax and civil law (generally between 4 and 6 years).

5. Recipients

We do not sell or pass on your data. The providers we rely on to operate may have access to it as data processors:

  • The email delivery service used by the contact form (Resend, Inc.) and our email provider.
  • Website hosting (Vercel, Inc.).
  • Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity), only if you accept analytics cookies.
  • Our tax and accounting advisers, for invoicing purposes.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

When a job requires collaborating tradespeople (for example, an electrician), we share with them only the details strictly needed to do the work (the property address and a contact number).

6. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw any consent you have given, by writing to hola@kasreformas.es and stating which right you wish to exercise. We will reply within one month. If you feel we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) (www.aepd.es).

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: the website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to our email is protected, and the photographs you send us are used only to assess your renovation. We never publish photos of a project on the website without the owner's permission.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will publish the new version on this same page with the date it was updated.
