Tips before you renovate
Short guides written from what we see on site, with no padding: what usually goes wrong, what to ask and what to decide before you start.
We are putting this section together. Each guide draws on Yuriy's experience of real renovations in the area: bathrooms with damp, kitchens opened up to the living room, older flats with iron pipework. The idea is not to write long articles but to answer the questions we get asked on visits and help you make decisions before asking for a quote.
In the meantime, the most direct way to see how we work is to look at the projects: each one explains the starting point, what we did and why, with photos of the work in progress.
